I couldn’t be happier with the service from On the Block Lawn Care! Communication is excellent, work is high quality and very dependable. I even went out of town for two month during the onset of spring, and returned to everything looking great. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

I've used On the Block Lawn Care twice so far and I love their work and communication. And the price is reasonable. The last time they put the lines in my grass like at a golf course. Beautiful!Posted on Google![]()

No. Raleigh ended loose leaf collection on September 8, 2026. The city now only takes your yard waste cart plus up to 15 paper biodegradable bags each week. If your trees drop more than that, or you’d rather not bag at all, rake everything into one pile and we’ll haul it away.
Your town or city may already pick up leaves, but the service can be limited.
Some neighborhoods fall outside the pickup area, including private roads, some HOA communities, and properties outside town limits.
Towns may limit how much they’ll take. Raleigh, for example, only collects a yard waste cart plus up to 15 paper biodegradable bags each week. If you have more than that, you’ll need another way to get rid of the excess.
Pickup schedules can be limiting. Some towns only collect loose leaves a couple of times a month, or only during a set seasonal window, which can leave piles sitting in your yard longer than you’d like.
If you need leaves gone sooner or more often than your city or town offers, book a pickup and we’ll come get them.
A little over is fine. If it’s clearly a size up, we’ll text you the new price before loading anything. If you’d rather not pay it, we can haul just the amount you booked and leave the rest, or leave the whole pile and charge a $50 trip fee to cover the visit.
Yes, as long as they’re in their own pile, separate from the leaves. We’ll haul them for an added charge. If sticks and brush are mixed into the leaves, there may be an extra fee to separate them.
We usually pick up within 1–3 days of booking. We group pickups by neighborhood to keep routes efficient and pricing more cost-effective for you. After you book, we’ll text or email you your pickup day.

Collected leaves go to a local yard waste center.

Just tell us where your pile will be when you book. For gated communities, include the gate code or access instructions in your booking notes.
