How To Use Our Lawn Mowing Cost Calculator

Use the On The Block Lawn Care Lawn Mowing Cost Calculator to get a quick estimate for weekly or bi-weekly mowing service.

Step 1 - Enter Your Mowable Lawn Size

Enter the approximate square footage of the grass area that needs to be mowed. You can use the slider or type the square footage directly into the box.

Do not use your total lot size if your property includes a house, driveway, landscaping beds, wooded areas, patios, or other areas that do not need mowing.

If you are unsure of your mowable lawn size, you can use a mapping tool such as Google Earth to measure the grass areas around your property.

Step 2 - Enter Your Property Details

Tell us whether your property has a fence and whether it is located on a corner lot.

If you have a fence, select the option that matches the width of your gate opening. These details can affect the equipment needed and the amount of time required to mow your property.

Step 3 - View Your Lawn Mowing Estimate

Once you have entered your lawn size and property details, select ‘View My Estimate’.

The calculator will show an estimated price per visit for:

  • Weekly lawn mowing
  • Bi-weekly lawn mowing

Your result is an estimate and is not a final quote. Actual pricing may vary based on the property and conditions we find when reviewing your service request.

If your mowable lawn area is larger than one acre or your fence gate is less than 38 inches wide, a custom quote will be needed.

When you’re ready, you can request a free quote to confirm your final pricing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know my exact lawn square footage?

No. An approximate mowable area is usually enough to get a useful estimate. The closer your measurement is, the more helpful the calculator result will be.

Yes! Our lawn mowing cost calculator is completely free to use. There’s no obligation to book service, and you can use it to get a quick estimate for weekly or bi-weekly mowing based on your lawn and property details.

Our lawn mowing service includes mowing, string trimming, edging, and blowing.

Heavy or overgrown grass may require additional work beyond a normal mowing visit. In that case, your final quote may be different from the calculator estimate.

Weekly mowing is usually the best choice during periods of active growth because it helps keep the lawn at a more manageable height and looking consistently maintained. Bi-weekly mowing may work for slower-growing lawns or certain times of year, but the grass can be taller between visits and may require more work each time.
